Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Journeyman Form uses the candidate information and uploaded files you provide for recruiting. It applies to the electrician application and the other skilled-trades interest form on journeymanform.com.
Candidate information
Journeyman Form collects the information you enter in your application or skilled-trades interest form. Depending on the questions you answer, this can include your name, contact details, location, work experience, union affiliation, licenses, certifications, travel preferences, availability and how you heard about us.
Application answers save as you go, so recruiters may see an in-progress application as well as a completed one. If you create an account, it lets you return to your saved information. Communication preferences and records of your consent are also saved.
Uploaded files
Documents and images you attach become part of your application. They may include resumes, license or certification documents, and evidence of work experience or hours. Recruiters use these files to review the qualifications and information you provide, and can view and download them with your application.
Upload only documents relevant to your application. Avoid including Social Security numbers, bank details or unrelated sensitive information. You can review your attachments in the application; contact your recruiter if a document needs further attention.
How recruiters use your information
Recruiters use your answers and attachments to review your experience and qualifications, search and filter candidate profiles, assess potential project matches, and follow up about availability or missing details. Recruiting records can include internal notes, classifications, follow-up reminders and communication history. Authorized staff can export candidate information for recruiting work.
Staff may correct an application answer. Corrections show who made the change, and the original answer and edit history are retained. Submitting an application does not guarantee employment, union referral or project eligibility.
Access to applications
Your candidate application and uploaded files are intended for you and authorized recruiting staff, rather than publication in the public locals directory. Recruiter tools require an authorized staff account and authenticator verification.
This notice describes use within Journeyman Form. If a recruiter asks to provide your information to an employer or another organization, ask who will receive it and how they will use it. Their own privacy practices may also apply.
Recruiting messages and your choices
Recruiting email and text preferences are separate from submitting an application. You can review and change them in your candidate dashboard. Where recruiting texts are enabled and you have agreed to receive them, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out. You can unsubscribe from recruiting emails.
Changing recruiting preferences does not delete your application. Account-related communications, such as password reset or confirmation emails, are separate from recruiting outreach.
Reviewing information and privacy requests
You can return to your application to review and update your answers. To ask a privacy question, request removal of information or discuss an uploaded file, contact the Journeyman Form recruiter who is handling your application, using the contact details in their correspondence. Do not send sensitive documents or passwords with a request.
This policy does not promise a fixed retention period or immediate deletion. Ask your recruiter about the information involved and how your request can be handled, including any recruiting exports or records outside your application.
Changes to this policy
Updates to this Journeyman Form privacy policy will be posted on this page with a revised date.
